As part of an ongoing infrastructure upgrade, we are updating PHP versions across all Vodien Shared Linux Hosting servers. This upgrade is aimed at improving platform security, stability, and long-term reliability by ensuring all websites run on supported PHP versions.
During this upgrade, we identified that some domains are still using very old PHP versions (PHP 5.3 and below). These versions are no longer supported and do not meet current security standards. As a result, they are not available on the new infrastructure.
What’s Changing
All domains currently using PHP 5.3 or below will be moved to PHP 5.4, which is the minimum PHP version available on the upgraded infrastructure.
PHP versions lower than PHP 5.4 are no longer available on our servers.
What You Should Do
While PHP 5.4 is the minimum supported version on the platform, it has also reached end of life. To ensure optimal performance, security, and long-term compatibility, we strongly recommend upgrading your website or application to PHP 8.2 or higher.
If your website uses custom code or an older application, please review it and plan the necessary updates at the earliest to avoid any compatibility issues.
